I
                         Am not
                      Afraid to be
                    Alone in a crowd
I am free of the doubts
That torment and cause such pain
Solitude need not be a lonely place
In the quietness I can hear
                 The sound of My heart
                 That beats so strong
                     I am whole
                       And free
                            Me

So I awake from a terrific night's worth of much needed sleep and find a wonderful gem. Very nice, Michelle! Can't help thinking about the irony of solitude vs. the idea that a diamond is a girl's best friend!
Are you enjoying your new outlet?

Diamond: The date on that is roughly a year after I separated from my Ex and I really had come to a place of just liking my own company. I didn't (and still don't) need that kind of diamond when I can be my own kind.
Blog: Not sure yet. I'm still sorting through how much of "me" is going to end up here. It's that funny thing that everything here will be me but not everything me will be here. Ya know what I mean?

"Know what I mean?" - Definitely! I mean, come on, my real name isn't really Yibbyl and only a handful of people know it as my nickname!

Recently, I have been revealiong more and more of myself on my blog.
I didn't intend to when I first started it, but it just sort of happened.
And it does feel therapeutic.
Yet there is still a reticence within me. There are lines I am not (yet) wiling to cross.
Beautiful poem, Michelle.
