Leap of Faith...
I gave a verbal resignation on Monday and made it official (in writing) today.
I do not have another job lined up yet but I am banking on my skills and experience carrying me through.
My last day will either be June 30th or July 27th depending on what the school works our for summer school payscales.
Yibbyl has been a solid rock of support through this. I am so very lucky to have him in my life.

I'm sorry it's come to this. I know how much you love what you do - and I have a pretty good idea how good you are at it, too.
Yet, I'm also glad you're voting for yourself and getting out of an untenable position. Nothing good could have come out of it at this point.

A leap of faith... I know how nerwracking this can be but I also know that the leap of faith can be the most rewarding thing you have ever done.

So glad you and Yibbyl have each other to hold on to. You're a wonderful, caring teacher and you and your students deserve to be in a school that is really focused on doing the best for the kids.

Wow. Apparently I missed some stuff going on.
You do for YOU, my friend. If that means that you need to leave a school that is not a good fit for you anymore, so be it.
