Date Night ...

It seems like Yibbyl has been out of town for weeks! And he left again this morning. But last night we stole some time away from the goobers and had a dinner date! It was lovely!

We went to Olive Garden and it didn't really matter that there was a long wait for a table. We sat in the bar and had a drink and appetizer. Then we were seated. It didn't really matter that it took a really long time to get our dinner. We snacked and sipped and talked and smooched and the time just trickled by and then the food came. It was really tasty, too, but I wasn't hungry by then. Our waitress felt really bad and offered us free dessert. Of course we were already full but we took a couple of decadent morsels home with us.

The bill came and it was only about half what it should have been. They hadn't added our stuff from the bar to our dinner tab but it didn't really matter. We stopped by the bar and asked to pay and the manager was very appreciative of our being honest and responsible about that. That's just pretty much who we are so it was no big deal to us.

We got home and relaxed (snuggled) for a while and let our dinner settle then we...JUST NEVER YOU MIND!

We had dessert later and it was yummy!

Isn't he a sweetie? I'm a lucky woman!

Today's Plan: Appreciate the little things for they add up to something BIG!

My Guy(s) ...

I have grumpy 16 year old twin boys but I caught a rare laugh coming from this goober so I snapped it quick!

We were camping at Lewiston Lake and Yibbyl had rented a little fishing boat for the day. This was just after a downpour soaked us and the fog was rolling in fast as the sun was setting.

Bummed & Blue ...

Work has been rough this last month.

We are losing 4 staff by July 1st: The principal, two teachers, and one aide.

Morale is at an all-time low.

I love WHAT I do but I don't know that I can keep doing it here for much longer.

I don't know what to do right now.

Today's Plan: Think about Friday: 2 students getting diplomas!
